BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The governing body of Puketapu School is the Board of Trustees. Our present Board was elected in May 2010 for a three year term.

The Board of Trustees govern the school within the terms of the School Charter and is responsible to the Ministry of Education and to you, the School community. Board meetings are held on Thursday of week 4 and week 9 of each term Subject to change). In general these meetings will be open to the public and only under certain circumstances will the meeting move “into committee”.

Our Board of Trustees is certainly a very hardworking group of people who spend much time working with the Principal to gain full benefit for the children of our school. These people represent you and you should not hesitate to make your requests known to them.
