Rimu 1 went to visit Mrs Paterson’s farm.
She has lots of interesting things to learn about!
Mrs Paterson is a bee-keeper, so she gets her own honey. Yummy!
She also has chickens and ducks so she gets lovely fresh eggs – we found some!
She collects wool from her sheep and makes felt – which is lovely and soft and warm.
She is very careful and clever about recycling so we learned about worm farms and compost too.
Thank you Mrs Paterson! We had a wonderful day.
